With a clean bill of health, Red Sox manager John Farrell will be back managing full time with the club next season. Farrell has been on medical leave since August while undergoing treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Bench coach Torey Lovullo managed the team during that time, and he will return to his old role for 2016. He’ll also be available to take over as Farrell’s health demands. Farrell’s contract runs through 2017, with a team option for 2018.
