Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer tossed his second no-hitter of the 2015 season when he shut out the New York Mets on Oct. 3. Scherzer became just the sixth pitcher in history to throw two no-hitters in the same season. Scherzer, a three-time All-Star, threw his first no-hitter of the season on June 20 against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
