Fourteen years and three World Series rings later, Jeremy Affeldt is calling it quits. The left-hander officially announced his retirement prior to the last series of the 2015 regular season. Affeldt came to the Giants in 2009. He made his major league debut with the Royals in 2002, and also pitched for the Rockies and Reds. Affeldt pitched on the Giants’ World Series-winning teams in 2010, 2012, and 2014.
