Cubs Win First-ever Playoff Series At Wrigley Field

The Chicago Cubs’ World Series drought is well documented: 107 years and counting. That 1908 title even came before Wrigley Field, the Cubs’ home since 1916. But the Cubs took care of another drought with their four game division series win over the St. Louis Cardinals. They won their first-ever playoff series at Wrigley. In fact, it was only their second series win since 1908. Cubs fans made up for all those years of frustration, cheering before, during, and long after the series was won. The Cubs now turn their attention to making their first World Series since 1945.
