Chefs Unite To Help Feed Laid-off Workers

Millions of hospitality workers have been laid off during coronavirus pandemic. Many survived paycheck-to-paycheck, making it difficult for them to afford groceries. Chef Edward Lee didn’t want to see these workers go hungry. He started a Restaurant Workers Relief Program at his restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky. Volunteers provide meals and supplies to those who have been laid off. Other chefs have started similar initiatives.
