Jessica B. Harris will be the recipient of the James Beard Lifetime Achievement award. Harris has written cookbooks, gives lectures and consults with big organizations. She’s positively affected the food industry through her lifelong work. The Humanitarian of the Year award goes to Zero Foodprint. The nonprofit organization works toward a carbon-neutral, renewable food system. They collaborate with farmers to improve soil and strive to end climate change.
