Attendance at professional sports events in the United States is falling. Maybe because more people are watching sports at home. But TV ratings for some sports are dropping, too. One sport that seems to have a very bright future is Major League Soccer. Young people are more interested in soccer than older people. The potential for growth is strong. And it doesn’t hurt that in 2026, the World Cup will take place in North America. It will be hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The World Cup is the biggest, most-watched sporting event on earth.
