Over the same three days in Boston in 2019, three pro hockey leagues celebrated their opening weekends. Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the new Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), and the Women’s Professional Lacrosse League (WPLL) all played thrilling games. During the same year, lacrosse games aired on network, cable, and premium TV channels. More games were played, and more fans came. A PLL game broadcast on NBC was the most-watched pro outdoor lacrosse game of all time.
