Lacrosse players and teams have long lobbied for the sport to be included in the Olympic Games. Now authorities from the US women’s national team have made an effort to make that goal a reality. Changing the rules to allow 10 players on the field—rather than 12—may improve the chances that lacrosse will be made an official Olympic sport in the near future. Other changes to game times and rules could also help.
