Robinson Cano’s ninth-inning solo home run broke a 1-1 tie and sent the American League to victory in the 88th All-Star Game. The win established another tie, as it was the 43rd all-time for the AL, tying the all-time series at 43-43-2. Furthermore, the all-time score is dead even at 361 runs each. The AL has gotten the better of it of late, however, winning its fifth Midsummer Classic in a row.
