Life Inside The 2020 US Open “bubble” In Manhattan

A behind-the-scenes look at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center during the US Open shows what life is like for players, coaches, and other personnel. With the absence of fans, the suites that normally sit sponsors and celebrities are being used by the players. They can eat meals there and watch other competitors. On the court, friends and family cheer on players virtually through a huge court-side screen. Masks are worn throughout the campus, but life isn’t all work and no play. When they aren’t competing, players spend time playing basketball, soccer, mini-golf, or even pool.
