The National Hockey League expanded to 31 teams in 2017, the inaugural Las Vegas Knights making it all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Now another US city wants in on the excitement. A group from Seattle has proposed that the NHL’s 32nd team be located in Washington State. But there seems to be no rush on the NHL’s part to bring professional hockey to the Pacific Northwest.
