Former Dodgers pitcher Fernando Valenzuela helped bring about an international era of baseball starting in the 1980s. In 2015, President Barack Obama asked him become a national ambassador to immigrants and refugees. Valenzuela will work with the U.S. government to help immigrants become U.S. citizens.
