Youth activists recently sat down with Governor Jay Inslee of Washington state in a continual effort to crack down on carbon emissions. These kids are between the ages of 11 and 15. They are in the midst of suing the state for lack of developed regulations on carbon emissions. Inslee invited the youth for a 20-minute meeting on the issue and ended up talking with them for an hour and a half. The youth will continue to try and gain Inslee’s support to regulate emissions during their settlement meeting later this month.
