Astronomers and astrophysicists alike are rejoicing at the recent discovery from NASA. Researchers from NASA, along with several universities, spent the last few years using the Kepler telescope searching for extraterrestrial life. In their search, they found a new planet, which they named Kepler 452b and nicknamed “Earth’s bigger, older cousin.” The planet is considered to possibly be habitable by humans.
