Lionel Messi and Barcelona won their fourth European Champions League title since 2006 when they defeated Italian champions Juventus 3-1 in June 2015. Barcelona, of Spain, also won in 2006, 2009 and 2011. Messi was on all four teams, although he didn’t play in the 2006 final due to injury. Although the star Argentinian forward didn’t score against Juventus, he helped set up the game-winning goal. Messi blasted a shot at Juventus goalie Gianluigi Buffon, and Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez scored on the rebound. Ivan Rakitic and Neymar also scored for Barcelona.
