Hockey Culture Needs To Change

In Minnesota, two teenage hockey players have been called racial slurs on the ice. In Canada, a head coach used a slur on a player who was listening to rap music in the locker room. A Colorado Eagles staff member once wore blackface to a Halloween party. One of the team members was black. As more players are coming out with stories about how they are treated by coaches, team members and fans, the NHL is seeing that hockey culture needs to change.
