Kevin Garnett returns to Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves traded for Kevin Garnett last week, bringing back the team's one true superstar to the city where he spent his first 12 seasons. Garnett was fresh out of high school when the Timberwolves drafted him in 1995. The power forward developed into a dominant defender and an NBA MVP, and in 2004 he led Minnesota to the Western Conference finals. Since the team traded him away in 2007, however, it hasn't had a winning season. That's unlikely to change this year. The Timberwolves are just 12-43.
