The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) set the qualifications for athletes in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Gymnasts who turn age 16 in the Olympic year can compete. This means anyone born in 2005 will be able to join the Team USA at the Olympics. The maximum age for soccer is still the same, age 24. Soccer players must be born on or after January 1, 1997.
