Researchers decided to take a new approach to studying El Algar, a civilization in Europe from the Bronze Age. Scientists conducted isotope analysis to learn about the chemical make-up of bones and wheat. The remains of Bronze Age humans who were higher up in social status contained more carbon and nitrogen. Researchers believe the difference is likely due to different farming practices.
