Joy Milne Helps Uncover A New Way To Diagnose Disease

When Joy Milne first noticed her husband Les smelled bad, she thought he needed to shower. It turned out she was able to smell Parkinson’s disease on Les more than ten years before he was diagnosed. Joy was a nurse and Les was a doctor, so they understood what a difference this discovery could make. Joy took her findings to researchers and was eventually invited to do a study. The results were astounding and suggested that there could be a way to diagnose diseases like Parkinson’s early enough to stop serious complications from happening.
