In Paris on March 11, 2020, French President Emmanuel Macron and Spain’s King Felipe VI honored the victims from their countries. This day was chosen by the European Union to remember and recognize those who died from terrorist attacks on the continent. France and Spain have suffered from many casualties since the 2004 Madrid train bombing.
