Kansas is home to many important sites in African-American history, but many of its residents don’t know about them. The African American Museum in Wichita hopes to change that by linking some of those sites by a trail. The Kansas African-American History Trail will take visitors to ten sites around the state, including the Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site and the Negro League Baseball Museum. The trail will be funded by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Libraries Services in Washington, DC.
