For what is believed to be the first time, a US college has more female engineering graduates than men. Just 10 years ago, Dartmouth College in New Hampshire had about 25 percent female engineering grads. That number today is 54 percent. Compared to the national rate of 19.9 percent, that’s an encouraging sign that more women are finding opportunities to pursue an engineering degree.
