Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper, who starred in the 2014 film “American Sniper,” will be bringing another war story to life, this time on the small screen. Cooper is working with HBO to develop the 2016 Pulitzer Prize-winning book “Black Flags: The Rise of ISIS” to television. The series will track the rise of the terrorist group and the response of the United States and other western countries. The book was written by Washington Post reporter Joby Warrick, who has covered the Middle East since 1996.
