Never before has there been such a fight at the top. Five NFL teams will be entering Week 8 undefeated, the first time that has happened in league history. The Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, and New England Patriots are all 6–0. This is nothing new for the Patriots, who went undefeated throughout the entire 2007 regular season. Perhaps most surprising is the Carolina Panthers, who are 6–0 for the first time in franchise history. The Panthers finished just 7–8–1 last season but still managed to win their division. At least one undefeated is guaranteed to go down in Week 8, as the Packers and Broncos will meet Sunday night in Denver.
