A forest worker in Australia spotted a small koala next to a tree. The koala was alone and looking confused. Bill Blair, the rescuer, carried the koala to his car. Its paws were burned and in need of medical attention. During the ride to an animal hospital, the koala snuggled up against Blair’s shoulder. The two formed a bond on the drive.
