Dan Baldwin served his country in the Vietnam War. Today he is showing his appreciation for veterans of a different conflict: the Civil War. Baldwin discovered the headstones of two dozen forgotten Civil War veterans in a cemetery near Nevada City, California. The stones list the names of soldiers and their units. Cleaning them is an expensive process, but Baldwin says it is important to honor the “special men” buried in the cemetery.
