Asian Americans have played a big part in the history of the United States. So why aren’t they included in the textbooks kids read in school? Asian Americans are the fastest-growing population in the US. But most of what non-Asian Americans learn about them – if they learn anything at all – is stereotypes. Some teachers are finding other ways to help students learn about Asian Americans as people and what they have contributed.
