Thanksgiving is traditionally one of the NFL’s biggest game days. This year’s edition featured one of the league’s most traditional rivalries. The Dallas Cowboys hosted their longtime rival Washington in the second game of the Turkey Day tripleheader. It was the 114th meeting between the two teams, and the second of 2016. The Cowboys swept the season series on the strength of two rushing touchdowns by Ezekiel Elliott. Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins threw three fourth-quarter touchdowns to lead a comeback, but the Cowboys held on to win 31-26.
