Harriet Tubman will replace Andrew Jackson on the face of the $20 bill, becoming the first woman on U.S. currency. Andrew Jackson will remain on the back of the bill. Originally, Tubman was going to replace Alexander Hamilton on the $10 bill, but critics called for Jackson to be replaced instead, due to his controversial role in the relocation of American Indians.
