Family Finds Letter From Thomas Jefferson In Attic

A box thought to simply contain family heirlooms ended up holding something much more valuable. A Mississippi family discovered a letter from Thomas Jefferson to their ancestor, US Ambassador to France William Crawford. The letter contains Jefferson’s thoughts on the end of the War of 1812, in which he compares it to the end of the Revolutionary War. The letter will be put up for sale, and it’s expected to draw a lot of interest from historians.
