Stephen Curry is making 3-pointers like no player before him. The Golden State Warriors’ point guard made 402 3-pointers in 2015-16, which beat his record of 286 3-pointers from last season. And that bettered his previous record of 272 3-pointers set in 2012-13. Warriors teammate Klay Thompson is the only player who compares to Curry. Thompson made 276 3-pointers in 2015-16. Only Curry has made more in a season. Combined, Curry and Thompson have the four top seasons for 3-pointers in NBA history. All of those 3-pointers this year helped lead Golden State to a historic season. Its 73 wins set an NBA record as well. Now it’s onto the playoffs, where Golden State will try to win a second championship in a row.
