No matter how it’s done, breaking Oscar Robertson’s 55-year-old triple-double record is an amazing achievement. But Russell Westbrook added a little something extra to the game in which he did it. Westbrook poured in 50 points to go along with 16 rebounds and 10 assists for his record 42nd triple-double of the season. As if that wasn’t memorable enough, Westbrook capped off the game with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to defeat the Denver Nuggets 106-105. Westbrook averaged a triple-double for the season, putting up 31.6 points, 10.7 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game.
