Three gorillas arrive at Orana Wildlife Park in Christchurch, New Zealand. Twelve-year-old Fataki is the country’s only silverback gorilla. Fataki arrived with his brother Fuzu, 7, and their half-brother, Mahali, 6. Fataki is a dominant male that weighs around 420 pounds (190 kg). He has the strength of 11 grown men, but zookeepers say it takes a lot for Fataki to get upset. Gorillas are powerful animals, but are mostly gentle animals.
