“Jurassic World,” the new dinosaur flick featuring Chris Pratt, brought in $208.8 million on its opening weekend in June. That broke the previous record opening of $207.4 million set by “The Avengers” in 2012. Experts point to several factors for the movie’s success. “Jurassic World” is the third sequel to the 1993 blockbuster “Jurassic Park.” But the most recent sequel was released 14 years ago in 2001. The newest movie also had a bigger budget and more star power, specifically in Pratt, who plays a lead character. Now it sounds like dinosaur fans won’t have to wait long for another “Jurassic” movie. Pratt has already signed on for another sequel.
