St. Louis Rams teammates William Hayes and Chris Long had donated money and time to helping the homeless. But neither football player truly understood what life was like for those living on the streets. So one day in March, Hayes and Long experienced it for themselves. Over 24 hours, they lived on the streets of St. Louis with only $8 between them. They kept warm standing by a fire. They (barely) slept in the back of the truck. Hidden cameras captured their experiment. Now they are hoping their experience can raise awareness and convince other people to help as well. The two football players also offered special help to two people they met.
