Coming off a last-place finish in the American League East, the Boston Red Sox added two of baseball’s biggest stars in Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval. Ramirez, a shortstop, has been one of baseball’s best hitters over the past nine seasons with the Miami Marlins and Los Angeles Dodgers. Third baseman Sandoval helped the San Francisco Giants win the 2010, 2012 and 2014 World Series. The player nicknamed “Kung Fu Panda” is known for stepping up his game in the playoffs. Just two years removed from their last title, the Red Sox hope Sandoval and Ramirez can help get the team back to the Fall Classic.
