Each title pairs a technology-based choice with real-life behaviors and shows the ups and downs of both. Middle-schooler Bridget’s dad owns a local tech development company; she has access to the latest, greatest gadgets. It also means that she is frequently tempted to use these devices and apps to excess. The storylines are accessible and realistic, with appropriate consequences for Bridget’s missteps. The stories are minimally connected; each title can be read as a standalone or in any order. While they will be a quick read for more accomplished readers, this series is the first I’ve seen to directly and realistically address the many issues being faced every day by many of our students. Recommended.”
