A new digital database, Enslaved.org, features information on people, events, and places involved in the transatlantic slave trade. The platform has over 613,000 entries from archives, libraries, museums, and other databases. Most of this information is just one piece of a person’s life. The website aims to help researchers put these pieces together to create a fuller picture of people involved in the slave trade.
