Celebrate World Tiger Day By Supporting Conservation

As the largest cat species on the planet, there is a lot to celebrate when it comes to tigers. Their distinctive orange and black coat can have up to 100 stripes. They can see six times better in the dark than humans. And they can eat up to 90 pounds (41 kg) in one sitting! Unfortunately, only 3,900 tigers live in the wild. Poaching and tiger “farms” are the biggest threats. As an endangered species, tigers need protection. Conservation efforts are working to double the wild tiger population by 2022.
