The television program Bill Nye the Science Guy ran for 5 years: 1993 to 1998. It changed the way we view science. We found out anyone could get involved in science. People became enthusiastic about science. The Science Guy featured a diverse group of kids. They conducted their own experiments. They explained concepts. His show educated people. And it inspired a generation to explore the world of science. His influence lives on today.
