Writer Mike Bartlett discusses how he wrote his latest play, King Charles III, which mimics a Shakespeare play in style and form. The play’s characters are the modern British royal family, after Queen Elizabeth dies. Bartlett was nervous to write the play in Shakespeare’s style, but he practiced a lot and wrote a successful play.
