Fans will now be able to watch NFL games on Twitter. The league announced that its Thursday night games will be streamed over the social network beginning with the 2016 season. Other major technology companies were also in the running, but Twitter beat out rivals such as Amazon.com and Facebook. The new agreement will allow fans to watch the game and tweet about it on the same screen. The games will be free to view on the site. Viewers will not need a Twitter account to watch. The games will also be shown on traditional TD stations CBS, NBC, and the NFL Network.
