Sylvia Fowles has been a star in college and the WNBA. Now she’s a WNBA champion and WNBA Finals MVP. Fowles had 20 points and 11 rebounds to help the Minnesota Lynx beat the Indiana Fever 69-52 in the winner-take-all Game 5. The championship was Minnesota’s third in five years. Joining Fowles on the Lynx was fellow U.S. Olympic champions Seimone Augustus, Maya Moore, and Lindsay Whalen. Augustus and Fowles previously played together at Louisiana State University.
