Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones has been the top performer at his position in the NFL this year. But with the way he is playing, he could have one of the best receiving seasons in NFL history. Jones has already had at least 135 receiving yards in each game this year. If he has a fourth, he’ll tie an NFL record held by just two other players. If he continues at his current pace, he’ll finish with 181 catches for 2,347 yards, which would shatter the records for both. Jones is also averaging 146.7 yards per game. That would beat the NFL record by nearly 20 yards. Quarterback Matt Ryan has been a key component in Jones’ success, targeting him with 40 percent of his passes.
