The all-black Pittsburgh Crawfords were an important part of Pittsburgh baseball history. Star catcher Josh Gibson was a key player for the Crawfords. Now his grandson wants to make sure Gibson and other players from the Negro Leagues are remembered. Gibson’s grandson is working to build an exhibit in Pittsburgh that tells of the hardships and successes of Negro Leagues players. In October 2015, FedEx donated $500,000 to support the cause.
