Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai recently turned 18, and celebrated by opening a school for Syrian refugees in Lebanon. The school is for girls ages 14 to 18 who did not previously have access to education in the armed conflict country of Syria. Up to 200 girls will attend the school, which is financed by the Malala Fund, Yousafzai’s charity foundation.
