A drone was able to capture images of an orca whale pod traveling in the ocean. Four adult whales and three smaller whales can be seen in the image. Drones have been an easy and less expensive way to capture images of some of these animals in the wild. Orca whales can be dangerous to get close to and hard to track, so the success of the drone images helps researchers.
