A new report found that the number of newspapers printed each day continues to decrease. There are fewer newspaper sales because many news companies have started to publish their news online. Daily newspaper circulation fell 3.3 percent over the last year. Yet, 56 percent of newsreaders only get their news by reading an actual paper. Meanwhile, the report by Pew Research Center found that readers now use their mobile devices instead of desktop computers or newspapers to get their daily dose of breaking news. The report shows that 39 of the 50 most popular news websites saw more mobile traffic than traffic from desktop users. But whether readers get their news on a tablet or a desktop doesn’t matter much. The number of all digital readers has remained steady since 2006.
